Faisal Rashid MP visits Dallam Community Primary School

Faisal Rashid, MP for Warrington South, was recently invited to visit Dallam Community Primary where he met Headteacher Louise Atkin, school staff and pupils.

Before taking a tour of the school, Faisal met with Louise to talk about the school’s work. During the meeting he pledged to support the school and its work.

Following the meeting, Faisal was given a guided tour of the school, including a look at the school’s brand new outdoor learning environment for the school’s Reception and Nursery classes.

He also joined the school for an assembly, where he spoke to the Key Stage 2 children about his role as an MP and took part in a question and answer session.

Faisal Rashid MP said:

“It was a pleasure to spend time at Dallam Community Primary School. The school’s staff, led by Headteacher Louise Atkin, are doing a fantastic job and that really shows. The children were engaging and asked me a number of thought provoking and interesting questions.

“The new outdoor area is very impressive and it was made possible thanks to the hard work of the school’s staff. Because of their work, current and future pupils at the school now have these wonderful outdoor spaces to enjoy. Well done to everyone involved.

“Thanks to the staff and pupils at Dallam Community Primary for inviting me to join them. I look forward to visiting again in the near future.”
